Who's afraid of the big bad witch?

No need to worry about running into me in the halls and having me suck out your soul, or whatever it is they're saying about me - I'm grounding myself until I hear what the verdict is.

Just leave the bread and water by the door.

Lets not be silly and melodramatic, Amanda. There is tea and most of a good breakfast for you when you want it. Doug ate the muffin though.

For the rest of you? Any attempts at assault, verbal or physical will be responded to with a large stick, and the possible demonstration that despite my best attempts, I do possess the fabled red-haired temper.

There will be no lynch mobs, whether the fire is made of burning wood or burning words.

Actually, you're going to sit down, shut up, and let the staff - which you are not, little trainee - do their jobs. We've got enough threats outside these walls, and now we just got one added inside.

If you want to help, you help us, not her.

Mr. Marko? I will neither sit down, nor shut up. I can handle the verbal assaults of my classmates better than most, and if anyone comes into the suite I live in to assult Amanda? I am going to defend it -while- calling for staff. I did not think that I had to explicitly state that I was going to take actions that are only common sense. If one of my more violatle classmates does something stupid, then unless you intend to post a guard outside my room, and as of yet, there is not one, I will do what I need to.

That does include calling for a staff member. I thought that was obvious.

How many people have threatened violence against a comatose teenage boy who cannot defend himself in the last month? How many of those do you think would stoop to attacking Amanda while I was out of the room?

As Sefton showed last night, it's a pretty stupid idea to trust any of you not to go off and do something stupid. And I'll be honest, right now protecting HER well-being's a pretty low priority. We got injured folks, little kids, any of them she might decide would better serve as her next fix.

Decision's going to be made, and it's going to be final. No process of appeal, no second-guessing. She's going to be dealt with.

That her well-being is a low priority for you is exactly why I made the statements that I did.

I am now hearing two messages. You tell me that she is not a priority, Mr. Summers tells me that everything is in hand and Amanda will be protected.

Which is it?

I don't think it's a good idea, but I don't speak for everyone. Summers does. Summers says that no one lays a finger on her, then that's how it's going to be.
