So this is what being awake is like.

Morning all.

I finally wrangled computer access from the docs, mainly by actually staying awake for a whole two hours in a row. I'm still catching up with the journals, but I wanted to let you know I'm not dead or in a coma or anything, and while I ain't 100%, I'm doing all right. The docs (and that includes the Strange one) reckon I'll feel this tired for a week or so, but that's what all the naps are for.

Pete pretty much explained everything as well as could be expected. I'm sorry to scare you all like that, but I didn't have a choice, not that I could see. You might think I was wrong about that, but I don't think so - magic is what I know, and I knew this bastard, better than anyone, and he wasn't going to give up just because someone asked him to nicely. And I wasn't going to see anyone get killed on my behalf, or spend the rest of me life waiting for him to catch up with me again, this time without the invitation.

The docs have cleared me for visitors. I might fall asleep on you, but I'm good for... oh, a whole half hour of chatting now.

I had a lizard at some point. Manuel was looking after it for me (he kind of insisted, I think he likes lizards) but I've been told he had an accident of some sort. And that's all. I know something's wrong, since a certain arsehole re-opened the link, but all I get from the other end is this horrible aching sensation and that can't bode well. But no-one's telling me nothing, 'for me own good'. *snorts*

Any way, last I heard Frank was terrorising Alison. Any one know where he is now, and anyone want to lizard-sit til they let me out of here? I'd look after him meself, only Doc Bartlett gave me this funny look when I suggested it. I don't think she's the reptile sort.

Oh yeah, distraction is good. Stops me poking at the link and giving meself a headache. And fuck I'd kill for a fag right about now...
