Istanbul, not Constantinople...
Oct. 13th, 2004 08:44 amOf course, now I have that bloody song stuck in my head. And I have no idea whose playlist to blame it on.
Right. Greetings from sunny Istanbul. Well, not-so-sunny, but it doesn't matter since I've got this absolutely brilliant hotel room with the hugest bathtub in it, all to meself. And a mini-bar. I like mini-bars.
Um, yeah, Istanbul. Complete surprise to me as well. And to Frenchie and Sarah - we had no idea what was going on until Dom and Pete whisked us off to the airport, and then details were sort of sketchy. Still are, a bit, but the general gist is "get away from the crazy house, relax and have some fun". In a purely educational way, of course. *grins* And after the last week, I'm not arguing.
Sorry to anyone who might have noticed we were gone - took a while to get Doc McCoy's travelling doohickey for the journals working, and that was after getting the right adapter for the power outlet. Should be back by Saturday, I think.
I actually slept last night. Can't tell you how good that was. I feel _worlds_ better than I did.
