Meggan -v- the mall

So, I took Meggan for her first shopping trip yesterday. She needed clothes for school, and something for the wedding, and some actual toys and the like. And it went really well, even if for a while there it looked like neither of us was going to get out of the toy shop. There was so much stuff.

I also learned that cake and small kids is a very messy combination. 'Specially when the small kid hasn't had cake before. There was cream everywhere. Just as well there was a change of clothes there. *wry grin*

Meggan is also the girliest girl you could imagine. Remember the dress Kaylee liked in Firefly? That's pretty much what Meggan's wearing to the wedding. Pink and ruffled and with a big bow in the back. It's adorable. Actually, Meggan is a lot like Kaylee - sweet natured and likes just about everyone...
