Romany is an evil, evil woman...

Not only did she decide I needed a mystical going-over after my April Fool's Day adventure, but she decided I needed to do it in the Cotswolds. Miles from any decent urban centre, which meant I've been going cold turkey powers-wise for the week and had to put up with the powers equivalent of caffiene withdrawal headaches. And she had Homily with her, which means lots of herbal tonics and healthy walks and not much in the way of smokes, booze or online communication.

Somehow I survived all that and I'm back in New York. Should be back in the office in five, if this taxi driver doesn't get us both killed. And for the love of all that's unholy, someone come to the pub with me after work today?
