I just spent the evening over at Beth's place being introduced to this Buffy show you're all so keen on. It's... interesting. I promised I wouldn't whinge about the magic parts too much, but there was some bits that were kind of familiar. Like the way normal people in the town were able to ignore stuff they couldn't explain. That sounds familiar. *wry grin* But I think I could do with watching the rest - we were watching season 6, mostly, since that was the most magic-y one, so I could do with starting from the first so I know what's going on.

Beth's folks were all right. Her dad gave me a bit of the first degree about the school and all, wanting to know what it was like before he lets Beth visit, but I think I managed to not freak him out overmuch. Least not more 'n I did already when he opened the front door. *grins* He's a cop, but I won't hold that against him. Her mum kept trying to feed us - what is it with mother types and food, any way?

Now for an hour or two of catching up on me homework - Angelo and me are off to LA tomorrow straight after class, and I'm using study hall to pack.
