LA's magical. And I don't mean that in a wanky postcard kind of way. There's power here - not as much as at home, and of a different kind - but it's here. Doc Strange was saying it was something to do with it being a place built on people's imaginations, that the flexible sense of disbelief lets the magic sneak in, or something like that. He tends to go on a bit when he's excited about something. Any way, today he took me to meet a couple of people, and to this place called the Floating Market - it's called that 'cause it moves around, all over the world - which sells stuff you can't exactly get at the supermarket. I got a couple of things for people. Not much, 'cause they use a barter system, and there's only so much magic Strange will let me do in a day. It was good, keeping busy. Means less time to think about stuff that's going on back there.
Oh, and Strange had a birthday gift for me. An unbinding spell. I... don't have words for this.
Gotta run, Strange is knocking on the door wanting me to come have dinner before he takes me out to Angelo's mum's. He's got business tomorrow, but will be 'round to collect us both for the plane in the afternoon. You don't get rid of us that easy.
