Back. And oops?

So, I got back a bit later than planned this evening, and the place was a bit quieter than expected. Looks like I missed the RedX scramble for Florida. Um, oops? And sorry - I'm not sure how useful my powers would have been, but there could have been a couple of things I could have done. Then again, the magic works better when I'm not stressed out of my brain, so perhaps not.

In any case, had a good weekend with Beth, and I'm feeling much more grounded. It's a good feeling to have - Beth and her folks are like an island of sanity or something. Someplace to go when I just need a breather.

And now for a moke. I miss Ange, since Shinobi's quit. But I guess Ange's mum needed him with her for a bit after the whole Asgard thing.

I can think of two uses - calming people down, and finding people who are lost. More use than me, in any case.

Wish I'd have thought of it - I was barely fit company for Frank this weekend, let alone anyone actually human. I'm also not entirely sure if I am allowed to go on Red-X missions. I'm fairly sure that I am, but I have not done any of the training classes or any of that.

I've done a lot of thinking while you were away. About the nature of memory, about associations, and about wanting and needing. I also had some new pictures taken and made icons.

Do you like them?

And you have a searching spell - or, at least, you did. You can find those who are lost just as easily as I can - probably even easier, as you don't have to cut through a whole lot of panic and fear to do it.

Anyway - how was your weekend? Want to come and tell me about it?

If it is something you'd want to do, training sessions for Red X are at the end of the month. But I think in emergencies they might let you any way.

*smiles* I'd have to be blind and/or dead to not like the new icons. Asgard did you a bit of good in that regard.

The location spell only works when I have something belonging to the person I'm looking for - there might be a general searching spell, but I don't know that one yet. But yeah, if people had given me something to work with, then maybe I could have done it that way. If I'd been in the right frame of mind to do the magic at all - this week's not been easy, and not just magic-wise.

And yes, I'd like to talk. Very much so. Student lounge okay? Paige is still sleeping after last night's effort, and I don't want to crowd you.

I'm glad you like them. I had you in mind when I posed for them - I'm glad that my efforts were successful.

And I understand from frame of mind issues. Mine's not been great, and I'm sure you've had it rough as well.

Did Shinobi talk to you at all? And the Student Lounge would be just fine - I'll bring a deck of cards, maybe we can talk and play some poker?

*grins* Leastways, those icons are making me think you are. They're very distracting, and I think that was the idea when you made then, right?

Shinobi did ask me about the spell I'd used on you. I explained about it as best I could. That was pretty much all we had time for before I went to Beth's, I'm afraid. Should I talk to him more before talking to you? Otherwise poker sounds good.
