The thing about this place is it can be a complete nuthouse. Which isn't to say I don't like it here, just that sometimes it gets to me and I need to go be anti-social for a while until my brain starts working again.

This would be my brain working again.

Other times this place can be scarily normal. Like last night - I watched movies with Nate and Moira last night, fell asleep on the couch and woke up this morning with a blanket tucked over me and Bella whistling Frank Sinatra at me. Okay, maybe the big blue parrot whistling old fogey music and then later trying to feed me bits of apple wouldn't be considered normal in some circles, but it's not like I have a lot of comparison.

It was nice. I need to learn how to relax more.

But not right now - right now I have Science class and we're learning chemical elements again. Basic chemistry. Which is funny, 'cause I learned to Call elements from Rack. Well, three, any way - Earth's dodgy. Wonder what would happen if I tried Calling carbon or something?

You can call elements, eh? The magical ones, not the chemical ones (I've been reading that book you showed me in the library). So, have you been calling Air lately? 'Cause I have this overwhelming urge to come find you and just hang out and stuff. I kinda miss being roomies.

I have no idea. Usually when I Call elements, it's small-scale - like the spell I use for lighting fags, that's calling Fire, the one I'm best at. I suppose if I upped the level of the spell a bit. And Paige would have to be something not-metal, since I can't work that at all. Still, could be worth a try...

Hmm, best to do this outside - I just tried Calling Air and blew me Arabic homework all over the room.

It is really too bad I do not think my images are not really made of whatever I draw them as. Though, I do not think I know WHAT they are made of...

It would be much easier to test that way.

No. So far whenever anyone tries to cut one open it just goes 'poof' and goes away. The really big ones sometimes turn into .. these.. kind of coloured smears. It is why my light blue blanket has that blue mark on it.

But when I made swords, they were as hard and sharp as real ones. Both times.

You know, neither of your powers is simple. I think you're doing it just to be special. *grins* I wonder... you don't think your images are a bit like the Askani when they use Nate's powers to make themselves visible? Sort of hardened psychic energy or something?

I'm not sure... This is really an aera for one of the psis, like the X geezer or Ms Frost. Possibly Nate. But with the aura thing, I can 'see' the Askani's energy, and it's different to normal. Maybe conjure up an image and let me take a look at it?
