Well, like you said, cats know everything, so you wouldn't understand what it's like to a) have most of what you were taught turn out to be wrong, one way or another and b) look like a berk in front of your friends. And people pointing out that I'm still wrong in the post where I'm admitting I'm wrong just rubbed it in all the more.
