So, over dinner last night, conversation turns to this mutant outreach clinic set up in the Bronx. Same sort of idea as those youth or homeless outreach places, only this one focusses on mutants specifically, ones who tend to slip through the cracks. They've got a clinic set up, referrals for Kick users, employment help, that sort of thing. Nice to see mindsets changing, even at this sort of level.

And anything that gets Alejandra and Miguel involved and contributing has to be doing good work...

The New York Genetic Outreach Center, you mean? My friend Kim works with runaways there. (You know, the teleporter? My savior who brought me to New York in the first place ;)

What Mark said. There's a social science professor from Columbia involved in it - Dr. Vincent Lee (although a Ph.D.? Not a real doctor!). I'd been meaning to hit him up for a lunch meeting or something to see about HeliX support - volunteers, publicity, etc.
