I'll say they were. And not just the people - ever wake up early in the morning with an entire city going "WTF!" in your head?

Still, giant rubber duck beats out guardian spirits of the city, any day.

Yep, but it's just London. We're sort of bonded after that mess with the London Stone and me going out of my mind for a few weeks.

Sort of - it's partly my mutation and partly the result of an accident a few years ago. You know how I get my energy from cities? Well, if I merge with somewhere often enough or it's somewhere really big and really old, it develops a personality, of sorts. Or at least that's how my brain interprets what I'm getting - it's complicated and needs explaining by a telepath.

There was also an 'incident' with the London Stone that means London's sort of linked to me more often than not, and when something big enough happens, I can feel it.
