*grins* Had you worried for a second there, didn't I? Thought I'd gone all hippy on you with the ritual this morning. I won't deny its made me feel better, less full of some of the shite that's been bothering me. The magic side of it, mostly - seems the way I've been doing things hasn't been exactly good for me. Bad for the soul, so to speak. The cleansing ritual is supposed to have reversed that, and it is, most of it, any way. There's some stuff that Rom can't budge, to do with Rack, mostly. I spose he had the longest influence on me, so it goes deeper.
Still, it feels like I've gotten another chance, to do things over, do them different. Here's hoping I don't fuck it up.
Oh, I spoke to Rom 'bout a bunch of you lot coming to pick me up for the Brighton thing - and yes, that's still going ahead, mainly because Rom knows I'll be stark staring mad by the end of the week, she's got some pretty heavy study planned. The threefold rule and such. Any way, she says she don't mind, she's just got to check with Homily, the woman who actually runs the place. Shouldn't be a problem - she's suggesting you come get me Friday evening so she can feed you (she likes doing that, I think I've doubled me weight in the two days I been here!) and we can catch the later train and stay at one of the backpacker joints in Brighton so we get a full weekend. If Shinobi can make it, he'll count as a teacher, which would be good - she already knows Pete and doesn't think too much of a school that would have him as a guidance counsellor. ;)
Now I'm off for a hot water bottle - feet are still frozen. You try standing naked in a stream at dawn in March in sodding England.
