Its bin a while. I'd forgot how boring sitting in a class all day can bee.

I was pretty much rite about the remedial classes. The X geezer gave me a bunch of tests an once we worked out I couldn't read half of them to good we switched to him asking me questions. You should of seen the look on his face when I told him I couldn't multiply or divide numbers but new how many hits you can get out of a 5 ounce bag of blow an what you should charge per bag an what your profit would be. So I'm in remedial maths as well as english. *waves to the stuck up spanish git* Not sure whose teaching either but I will soon enough since I've got first classes tomorrow.

I've also got history an geography with the munchkins. knowing the history of witchcraft in europe over the past 1000 years an which dimensions are the hell ones doesn't quite cut it in the Yank education system. S odd sittin in a class when you've just been on the front porch smoking a fag with the teacher. The little sprogs aren't so bad tho Miles couldn't figure out at first how I was able to levitate pencils still when he was sitting next to me (I was bored). Explained to him that the interestin bits aren't my mutant power an he seemed pretty happy about that. Poor little bastard gets all worried about hurting someone by switching em off by accident. Kept him and the rest of them amused with a few card tricks when Shinobi had to go get something he'd forgot. I'd forgotten how cute sprogs are when their that small you don't see em that age on the streets of brighton an my last couple of foster families had annoying teenage brats.

i've also got art which is cool an self defense which is a bit of a wank really. I now how to look after meself. But its compulsory for new students since someone got beaten up in the shopping centre in there first week so Ill have to go an pretend to learn something.

Rom wasn't wrong about this place being a mystic heat sink. I ain't felt so much as a twitch of power since that first jolt when I turned up which I figure was some kind of freak thing since it hasn't happened since. So learning to control my mutant power ain't gunna be a problem since I'm starting to run low without much chance of a recharge. The transformation spell I used on Jake took a lot out of me an I'm down to baby stuff now - calling Light levitating small things like pencils an the tv remote an thats about it. Still have the Knowledge but so the potion stuff still works. Healing was always a doddle for me so that's still goin strong not that I've needed to use it. Wonder if I could get a corner of the green House to grow herbs in? Not sure who I ask Xavier I guess.

Losing the power sucks but its got good points. I'm not getting the dreams so much (which my roomie will appreciate I'm guessing) an I don't have that itch under my skin, like my blood was electric. An I've stopped seeing those fucking weird colours around people. I thought they was e flash backs only I haven't taken anything for 3 months an I was still seeing em. Didn't say anything to Rom at the time coz it didn't seem important. I'm still gunna go see Mctaggart since I promised Pete but I'm not sure theres much point.

Still settling into the whole roomie thing. Its better than sleepin in that big room on my own - you get used too havign people around you living in a squat an whatnot an it was a bit odd not having any one else breathin in their but me - but she's very cheerful. An I'm still trying to sort out in my head just who she's actually snogging since it seems to be either Angelo whose an okay bloke to talk too or Jono who I haven't met yet but who seems a right cranky bastard. Still he's a Londoner an that's enough to make any one cranky. Its better than a episode of Neighbours I tell you.

Which reminds me I'm wantin a smoke. Should try an catch Shinobi on the porch. Paige wont mind me borrowing her coat again its fucking freezing out their.

pS whats with english an all these different spellings of words that sound the same? Spell check gives me three different ways of spelling there/their/they're an I'm buggered if I now which one to use.

On spelling: English is a stupid language. There's some quote somewhere about English following other languages down alley ways and mugging them for spare grammar. Sounds about right.

There - a place. My laptop is over there.

Their - possesive. Their situation is very complicated.

They're - contraction of 'they are'. They're going to the mall this weekend.

Different spellings for different meanings, except when it's the same spelling for different meanings.

And sometimes, the same spelling for present and past tense. Read and read confuse me, even now. Only, French has a little of that, just not as much.

or Jono who I haven't met yet but who seems a right cranky bastard.

I guess that all depends on who you talk to.

Naw, roomie, he's cranky no matter who you talk to. Some people just put up with it differently.

Hey Amanda. So glad I amuse you. ;) If you need help on your subjects just let me know, huh? Kitty has explained the there/their/they're problem but I'm more than willing to assist with anything else.

I could probably _do_ that, now that you mention it. The compelling part, not the dancing naked part.

PS - I have a Black Flag CD. Want a copy?

One of the kids introduced me to this wonderful program called kaza. There is much music available for downloading.

I also have some Samhain and some Danzig. They are barely tolerable, but you'd probably like them. Stop by sometime.

We have art together. I think you'll win for traumatising Piotr though - he doesn't seem to be bothered too much by anything I draw.

Although, I suppose that would be because I didn't turn in any of the really strange drawings.

The "there/their/they're' thing works like this - I had quite the time figuring that one out myself, that and "to/too/two".

There is used when you are talking about a place. "Jake the frog hopped over there."
Their is when you are talking about something someone owns. "Miles and Artie lent me their erasers."
They're is when you are talking about a group doing something or all being a certain way. "Wait until you get to silent letters. They're a royal pain."

You know, I'm surprised they aren't just putting all of us with strange dreams in the same room, although I suppose there might be an age difference.

I think that if we both gave art assignments from dreams, that Piotr might be a tad distressed, although mine are mostly fire lately.

No demons, thankfully, which is a good thing.

Ah. I thought you were older. I will be 16 in August, so it is a little more than a year. It feels like a lot more sometimes, between me and some others, even if it just a year or two.

That isn't the first time I've been told that. It is a bit worrysome.

I'm not sure I could stand more than 1 strange dreamer at a time in the same room!

He spit it back out later though. It is on your laundry hamper.

I didn't think my projections could be solid enough to hold something in them for a while, but I guess they can. Neat.

yeah, I saw the sock on the hamper, it's all cool. so long as he keeps giving them back he can eat my socks provided I'm not wearing them ;)

The one who got beaten up in the shopping center was me. Not a very fun experience, but it was in a good cause, and I came out none the worse for wear, except for a bit of a fear of shopping centers. :)

And yes, as has been said before, written English can be a royal bitch to learn. No rhyme or reason to it at all.

It is easier, I think if you have to keep doing it over and over. Not the same things, just always using English. Mine has improved a great deal lately, even if I still do not understand some words.

Is gotten a word, in English? It sounds like German.

The differences between European English and American English are funny sometimes, no?

I still do not quite understand why Americans feel the need to change perfectly good spelling. Those poor forgotten u's must feel so neglected here.
