Clearing up something

xp_daytripperThere looks to be some confusion about me magic and me 'little problem' and what I can and can't do, so I figured I'd put people straight. Knowledge is power and all.
The crystal doohickey you might have seen me wearing around me neck ain't for decoration, it's the amulet Rom gave me which provides me with a source of mystic energy since the mansion ain't got none. No wait, that's a double negative and I'm supposed to be learning not to do those. Ain't got one, that's better. Any way, the glowing crystal thing gives me enough power to function as a normal person, instead of the withdrawing lunatic you had to put up with the last few weeks of February.
It also gives me enough power to do a certain level of magic. When I'm fully charged - which I am now, finally - I do certain healing spells (not enough to heal big wounds totally, but enough to take some of the pain and start things fixing), some shielding, calling the elements, floating stuff up to the size of a desk chair as long as it don't weigh much, the aura thing, and a few other things.
I don't have the power to do all the stuff I know. But that don't mean I ain't got enough power for any kind of magic. I ain't able to deal with much more power than I'm getting - we're still working out what kind of level is a safe one for me - but I ain't useless. Really.
