We have legends about this kind of thing in England. A big warm ball in the sky that comes out maybe once a year. We call it the sun.
*grins* I've been lying out in it. As we English have a habit of doing whenever there's a break in the clouds for more than ten minutes. I think I've gotten me entire dose of sun for the year in a couple of hours...
O Most Evil of Devil Women? Anything else need to be done for tomorrow? I've got an incredibly good mood to take advantage of.

Now that I want to see!
*doesn't intend to behave at all, as we're talking shopping here!*
No promises, mind
Date: 2004-05-30 11:07 pm (UTC)I'm starting to wonder what the hell's wrong with the way I dress, if everyone seems convinced to make me wear anything else.
And I can behave. Without being in a coma, even. ;)
Re: No promises, mind
Date: 2004-05-30 11:33 pm (UTC)For example: jeans and T-shirts are really comfortable, wear well in most common social situations, and while most of my shirt collection is fairly weird, I only had to buy about five percent of it. On the other hand, Kitty likes it when I dress up, so I'm not nearly as opposed to the concept as I was when I got here. S' just a couple extra options, that's all.
And I still draw the line at Speedos and women's clothes. :)

Date: 2004-05-30 11:38 pm (UTC)And the obsession people have with clothes shopping in this place is disturbing. Give me a good occult bookstore or decent music place any day. ;)
Re: No promises, mind
Date: 2004-05-30 11:46 pm (UTC)It's the shoes that really get me. Why do people need more than maybe two pairs of shoes? Three if you count sandals. I mean, you only have two feet.
Watch as the next student to walk in the door does it on seventeen legs, now that I've said that. :)
Three?

Date: 2004-05-31 10:13 am (UTC)Sandals for when it is too hot to wear hiking boots or trainers. Black boots for clubbing, because I dislike having my toes stomped upon.
I think that is all of them.
