Keeping busy
Jul. 8th, 2004 06:47 pmI called Red, the head groom over at Stonewall today, to ask if I could go back to working there mornings (except Saturdays of course. Saturdays are Strange days); the language classes're in the afternoon, and I'm not used to this sitting around doing nothing thing, after school and the magical training, and before that, just making sure I had money for food and a place to kip.
Funnily enough, he didn't mind. I start back on Monday, but I've got one of the work horses on loan here at the moment, so I'll have to ride the first day to take her back (getting up at 3.30 in the morning to do it - I'd just stay up if it wouldn't wreck me for actual work), but ater that, I'll need me taxi service again - Paige-Roomie, you still good for that? Red says Stonewall's Pride is pining for you any way. *grins*
Pete, I'm still up for the healing sessions - Moira says twice a week now, not longer than ten minutes. Shouldn't need too much more any way, now you're up and about. Those ribs'll just take a while, considering bone is bloody hard to Heal.
Keeping busy is good. Doing me own thing is good too, 'specially since everyone's busy with theirs and there ain't much I can do to help. Except Frank of course - he's sitting on the computer giving me that 'feed me now, woman' look. *snickers* Reminds me of Manny.
