*snickers* Fuck, you should have seen Manny's face when I sprung my little surprise on him on Friday night - there was this classical music concert in one of the parks in town, and since it was outside I didn't have to get dressed up like some sort of wanker. He never thought I'd sit through that sort of thing, but I did. Some of it weren't bad, either - the loud, angry stuff, mostly.

Strange drove me back from class today, something about seeing the X geezer. Probably about me training or such.

Oh, and waiting's all done. Gotta love good news.

*laughs* Well, that _was_ my first thought, but when I thought about it, I realised that you probably wouldn't get to do that bit too often if you had real cannons, so yeah.

Well, they use real cannons, but they fire blanks. :) They usually play the 1812 overture as part of the Fourth of July celebrations in Washington during the fireworks, and they have army people firing off cannons. It's very loud.

You know, I am surprised there are not any punk covers of classical pieces. There are certainly enough -other- musical styles who cover classical music - Manuel can probably go on for far longer on the subject than I can...

It might be an interesting expirement for him. :)
