You might try a variant or two in the base if you're going to bolster those spells. After all, you can never be too careful with magic, can you?

And how would someone who has... how'd you put it, only enough magical power to light up a lightglobe, know which spells I'm working on, and that you can vary the bases? No doubt you have an explanation, like you do for everything, but I've got your number now, "Snowflake".

Educated guess; base variants aren't exactly higher study, and I doubt what you're using is either. Just because I don't have the power (if you're so determined to pretend that you "have my number", ask your doctor friend) doesn't mean I don't have the theory.
