Just got a batch of links from my mate Charlie. Seems the Burning Times is another one of those myths, like that Pope Joan. Yes, witches [1] were tried and burned and tortured, but it wasn't a wholescale genocide sort of thing. At least, not during the times courts kept records. Of course, that only goes back to the age of the printing press and doesn't cover what happened to the Druids when Britain was invaded by the Romans, but then again, unless I work out how to summon the ghost of Magic Users Past, that's probably just another myth too.

So, you're all right, I'm wrong (again) and I'm going to stop attempting to be clever and go play with Meggan.

Edit: The links, since you lot obviously don't understand the words "I got it wrong":

There.

Edit 2: [1] or perfectly non-magically adept people who for whatever reason were called witches.

Remember what you've told me before, little sis. The journals aren't the place for discussions like this.

Oooooh. Because no one could ever understand and Catseye is just a big bad horrible meanie. Catseye is only interesting and convenient to have around when Catseye is being fluffy and kittenish but not when Catseye, oh, bothers to think.

Well, Catseye is also bored now. Salami is much more interesting than this.

Catseye thinks this is sad now.

So, only people who agree and say all the same things or say only what is wanted to be heard could understand. And those who disagree or bother to think otherwise or just think at all never possibly could.

Riiiiight.

The salami calls to Catseye now. So very clearly.

So, maybe it's just that you still really don't get people, but it looks like you're just needling Amanda to needle her.

To put it simply, Amanda is upset and you're rubbing her nose in it. That's not very nice. Do cats not have compassion?

Catseye, I know you're upset but I'm sure Amanda doesn't mean that you really don't understand. No one here forgets that you've had to change your whole life since learning about your mutation. She's just upset right now.
