I don't think the masses can afford opium. Hence why tobacco's the poor man's substitute.

Then again, some of us have our consciousness altered naturally, and have no need of or desire for any additional tweaking.

True, and you're welcome to the buzz. My actual body mass is too low to be given any painkillers stronger than Motrin without risking liver damage - I don't even want to think about what recreational drugs would do to me.
