Something that's come out of this whole mess was that there's always options, even when you don't think there are. I came here because I had nowhere else to go to learn about the magic and my mutation. But there's other options for me now, and staying here isn't the best one, for me or for the rest of you here. I've burned too many bridges, hurt too many people and while people might see me leaving as running away, in the end it's the only way I'm going to be able to fix the mess I've made of my life and of my powers.

Tante and Remy are heading back to New Orleans in a short while - I'm going with them. Tante says she can help me not turn into someone like Selene.

I've spoken to the Professer and he's made sure I'm not being manipulated or guilted or made to do something I don't want to do. I've told Romany as well, but given I'm eighteen, it's my decision, not theirs. A few of you - Moira, Kurt, Meggan, Marie-Ange, Doug and Jubilee - I've managed to catch and talk to and say my goodbyes. The rest of you that it matters to, I'm sorry I didn't get to you, but there's a plane to catch and I have to be on it. All I can say is, I appreciate what people have done for me, even if it doesn't seem like it now. I won't forget it, or you.
