Something I was thinking about after talking to Angel yesterday. She's so... excited about being a mutant and other people's powers and the like, and I realised something. Being a mutant sometimes is bloody awesome. Yeah, there's the bigots and the bastards who take advantage and all the rest of that shite, and there's a lot of people doing their bit to stop all that, and there's powers accidents and people getting blown up and getting addicted to their power and fuck knows what other downsides.
But sometimes you need to think about the positives too. So, here's my list. Five things that I like about being a mutant.
1) I never have to stub my toe looking for the lightswitch in the middle of the night. Having your own personal night-light is fun.
2) If I've had a shite day, all I need to do is go sit and listen to the city for a while. Perks me right up.
3) Travel. Who else would get to visit five or six different countries in ten days just to test their powers?
4) Mutant metabolism. I can eat as much junk as I like and still fit into my jeans.
5) I met the best friends I've ever had through Xavier's and Snow Valley.
So, here's the challenge - name five things (funny or serious, trvial or not) you like about being a mutant. No angst allowed. ;)

3) 29 hot dogs. Just sayin'
4) I don't get colds, the flu, spring allergies or anything like that. No more scraped knees, or cutting myself shaving or ingrown toenail.
5) The smell of fresh bread.
