Yeah, I know, I didn't say I was going anywhere. One of those last-minute trips. However, we're back. Well, temporarially for me - I have to go over to Frost's clinic and go have all sorts of needles as a precautionary measure. Tho' the queasy feeling in my stomach isn't a good sign. Take this as a warning, kiddies - don't drink the local water, even when you're dumped into it wearing a backpack and heavy boots and you're a shortarse like I am.

I started making soup before my brain caught up to the part where you have not actually lived here for some time. I may have to drop by.

Date: 2007-03-15 03:03 pm (UTC)And a bucket. Let's not forget my new best mate, the bucket. Blargh. Apologies for the tmi, as Mark's post-it calls it.
And thanks for the idea of soup, even if it's a bit hard to make it actual soup without dealing with New York traffic. Idea of soup's actually better for my stomach right now. *wry*

Date: 2007-03-15 04:55 pm (UTC)Once you've cleared out some of the crud and I've had a chance to get there, the actual soup might be worth a try. You do need to stay hydrated, and this is my anti-nausea recipe.

Date: 2007-03-15 05:40 pm (UTC)And I might take you up on that, o angel to distressed jet setting types. *grins* I remember that soup of yours from back in the day. The docs says this is one of those 24 hour things, but food's going to be a bit tricky for a few days. And my co-workers are all bruised.
